One-day trip around Warsaw
We have created a list of places worthwhile visiting during your day trip! The Zegrze Reservoir and Kampinos National Park are just some of them😊
The Zegrze Reservoir is one of the biggest attractions of the Mazovia pulling in crowds, so when the weather is nice you certainly won’t feel lonely over there. The area features many picturesque cycling routes and there are bike rental options, too. You can also join guided tours to learn all about the history of the region. You will find all the information here: https://jezioro.zegrzynskie.pl/
May weekender in Warsaw and its surroundings is not complete without a trip to the Kampinos Forest. The Old Oak dated back to the 19th century, an early medieval settlement, and walking trails through the forest are only a beginning. History buffs can expand their knowledge about World War II in the Palmiry Memorial Site.
And to truly experience spring coming to life, visit a place where it’s all in bloom! The arboretum in Rogów invites you to workshops and classes. It’s an oasis of peace for everyone, not just those with green fingers!

We always recommend you to visit the parks in our city and to pop into the Zoo.
This year, the Warsaw Zoo celebrates its 95th anniversary! Visiting the zoo is the perfect storm: learning through play, supporting the mission of this institution, and helping to protect the endangered species. It’s fun for both big and small kids. You will also be close to nature in the rooftop garden of the University of Warsaw Library.
Free time is also a good opportunity to visit friends or meet them in one of your favourite cafés or restaurants. Or maybe you will enjoy a karaoke session together, visit a trampoline park or solve the riddles in an escape room?
Something for the daydreamers – a May weekend in Warsaw in the world of childhood! How about a visit to the Museum of Dollhouses, Games and Toys? On a daily basis, we often walk past such places without paying much attention, while these less-known museums also have fascinating collections! It’s worthwhile paying them a visit!
